City Creek

San Fransisco

We started here at our meeting place for if you get lost. Garrett got lost, but we found him before he made it back here.

Caden and Weston on Hyde Pier. Smiling :)

Pause for Fish and Chips - Weston's favorite.

Garrett loved this guy.

But not this guy.

Don't worry - the other kids loved him! Garrett did, however, love his ice cream. He is an orange fiend. Orange sauce, oranges, orange tic tacs, orange chicken, etc. This ice cream, of course, was orange sherbet and oh so yummy!

A great picture of Aaron's parents, Jack and Greta Cousins, at Pompeii's Grotto:

Lydia at Ghiradelli's (this was what I was looking forward to all day: Banana Split with Hot Fudge. Alas, no picture. If I posted it, I would always look at it. Then I would always want it.)

Chocolate Rocks

There was only one sea lion.

After The Embarcadero, we drove all over sight seeing. It was another beautiful San Fransisco Day.

Muir Woods

We spent one of our last days in California at one of the most beautiful places in the country.

Even still, Caden finds it hard to smile . . .

I wish I could find the stranger that took pics of my kids here. He had a super sweet camera.

Always a smile from these two . . .

Family shot thanks to the timer on the camera . . .

I tried to get a shot of everyone on the trail. I really wasn't focusing on photography this trip.

As our self-proclaimed Best Hiker, Lydia blazed the trail. Caden was awesome to keep up with her. Garrett and I were barred from walking together. I guess we REALLY slow down when we are together. It was so beautiful, who wants to hurry?

Swimming with sharks . . .

I tried to get shots of the sharks, but my little camera is not that awesome. They were there. I promise. In numbers. The boys all went all the way under. It was soooooooo cold. The last one is Lydia being buried.

Jelly Belly Factory

Caden's Burn the Homework Party

Caden and his friends get together for one of these at the end of every school year. We hosted this one. So grateful for good friends!!!!!

We made the other kids hide in our room until bedtime. They don't look too bummed.
